Basketball

I always watched basketball since I was a little boy. When I was young I was a fan of a lot of players in the NBA. I was a fan of Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Paul Pierce, etc. They were the best at the time. I liked the way they would go at it on the court and try to out score each other and give their teams the win. But since 2008 I have a favorite player and his name is Derrick Rose. I saw some of his games in college and when he came to the NBA there was something about him that I liked. Ever since then I was a Derrick Rose fan. More and more over time I started watching more college basketball games and I didn't know that there was so much hype surrounded by it. The teams I mostly watched in college basketball was teams from North Carolina like Duke University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill,and North Carolina State University. All those teams are rivalries against each other. When they play each other no one knows what to expect. You can be endured in a great game. After time I picked my favorite team out of all of them and that is Duke University. I liked that they have a great coach. Their fan base and home court is ridiculous.

In Statistics we are learning about frequency distribution table. How to set up a table filling in the data that is given. Also we are learning to put the data we got from doing the frequency distribution into different graphs. The four graphs that we are using is frequency histogram, relative frequency histogram, polygon frequency, and ogive. We are also learning about stem and leaf plot. Also how to use two data tables and put them on the same stem and leaf plot. We are recently learning about the dot plot and how to graph it using a frequency histogram. In Gym we have a project coming up on to make a fitness routine for someone we know older then 25. We have to ask them a bunch of questions on the paper that the gym teacher we give us. In Government we are learning about the different branches of government and what are there roles. We learned that no branch of government is more powerful then the other. We are also learning about different court cases. I have a project next week on a Supreme Court case (Deshaney vs. Winnebago County Social Services). In College Readiness we are doing our SUNY and CUNY application. We also have to find 2 scholarships that we qualify for. I also look up different colleges that I am interested in learning about more. In Forensic we are learning about autopsy and we recently watched a autopsy video of a doctor cuting the body and taking out its different organs/

Bleacher Report (SSR)

For the past 4 years now I have been using a app called Bleacher Report(http://bleacherreport.com/). It has articles about all types of sports and different things that is going on with the players, teams,etc.

I like using this app because it tells me all about the different things that is going on in different sports that I like to watch. I personally like to watch College Basketball, College Football, NBA, NFL, and Boxing. Bleacher Report helps me learn about things that are going on with the teams. Like if there was a argument in the locker room after a game Bleacher Report will post a article about it to let me know all the insides of what happen and possibly how it happened. I also like it becomes it brings up notifications on my phone about the scores of a game and it lets me know if the game is close or is it a blow out win. It also lets me know the status of different players injures. It lets me know the usual recover time for the injury. I overall like the app because it lets me learn different things from other sports.

Class Related Response

My class related response is we are doing chunks from the book Fahrenheit 451. Different groups have different chunks to annotate and then we have to present it in class. We have to ask questions in the chunk, also explain what different words mean, and give a summary of the chunk..My group has the last chunk so we will be the last ones to present it. At first I didn't understanding the chunk but my group helped me understand it better. I think that we should read some of the book in class so more students can get a better understanding of the book. I also think we should get quizzes almost everyday of the book. They should be regular Do Now's and you grade them when you do binder check. I also like the Journal Writes that we do in class. It gives us a chance to write freely and people can get a good grade on it.

I play football and basketball with my friends. I enjoy playing video games. I play video games on the Xbox One. My favorite game is NBA 2K. NBA 2K 15

NBA 2K15 is a video game that recently game out. It is one of the most highly anticipated sport game of the year. 2K has been a franchise that started since year 2000. Ever since then, they have been making some of the most unique basketball games. 2K has put this game on different consoles and portable devices. But NBA 2K 15 is more unique then all of the. for one they put the game on a next gen console. Next gen consoles are more moderate and realistic then the current gen consoles. Another reason why it is unique is because they have added different game modes and took game modes from before and made them even better. One game mode that they have recreated is Park. In 2K 14 Park was a park that you and your friends can go on and play different people in a park. Now you they have 3 redesign parks that you can play in. Also they made a gym were you and 4 of your friends can play other teams in a 5v5 simulation game. One way that they have used next gen is by now you can scan your face and put it into 2k. Sounds awesome, I know. Now in MyCarrer you can play it with a player looking gets like you. Now you see why NBA 2K15 is a must buy for Next Gen.
